We provide a dedicated service for the following NHS Trusts, and CCG's:
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Trust
East and North Hertfordshire CCG
Herts Valleys CCG
West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Specialising in dialysis and outpatient appointments, our large fleet utilises only the most comfortable wheelchair accessible vehicles, saloons and MPVs to ensure maximum well-being for patients.
Utilising the very best booking and dispatch software available, our operating systems are web based, secure and linked with sophisticated driver applications. This technology provides our staff and customers with real-time information, updates on all journeys and dramatically reduced waiting times for NHS patients, unblocking much-needed beds and meeting required KPI.
We are proudly regulated by the Care Quality Commission and all our drivers are fully trained to the same standard as non-emergency ambulance drivers with a continual cycle for improvement.
With a large, flexible fleet, Mealings are able to provide a better service for the NHS at a much lower cost than traditional ambulance providers . We ensure the same high levels of care excellence and pride ourselves on offering a gold standard NHS service for the price of an ordinary taxi.

CARE QUALITY COMMISSION
Mealings has been registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) since 2011. Whilst very high standards of care have always been integral to the company since its inception in 2001, it was important for the company to ratify its culture, policies and procedures with the newly formed care regulator in England to verify our care standard but also enable the company to continue its development related to care provision in the taxi and patient transport sectors.
It is rare for a taxi operator to be registered with the CQC and we are proud to have successfully passed through its rigorous registration process and two subsequent inspections. We have systematically embedded a very strong compliance and care culture within the organisation and all our drivers and staff are subject to continued training requirements to ensure the best possible service.
